Injectables: Fillers are injectable treatments that help diminish the signs of aging. Fillers are composed of soft, gel-like substances that can either be synthetic or naturally occurring in nature. They can be temporary (absorbable) or permanent (non-absorbable). Fillers are commonly used to plump up lips, restore volume and fullness to the face, smooth out the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, fill in depressed scars, or to rejuvenate hands.

Microneedling: Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive procedure used for skin rejuvenation. During treatment, a pen-like device studded with tiny needles are used to make precise, microscopic punctures in the skin. The tiny wounds do not leave scars but instead trigger the skin’s repair mechanism, stimulating collagen production. Microneedling is commonly used to treat scars, enlarged pores, fine lines and wrinkles, as well as stretch marks. Microneedling can also be used to help topical treatments penetrate the skin more effectively.

PRP: Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy is a form of regenerative medicine that harnesses and amplifies the natural growth factors found in our bodies

Laser Treatment: Laser therapy is a broad term that describes treatments that use a single wavelength of light to target specific cells in the skin. The light energy is converted to heat energy, resulting in damage to the targeted cells and also triggering the skin’s repair mechanism, thereby stimulating collagen production. There are numerous types and brands of laser devices that provide a broad range of applications. Examples include: laser hair removal, tattoo removal, skin rejuvenation, treatment for scars, and stretch marks, and removal of unwanted red or brown spots.

Skin Peel: Chemical peels are cosmetic procedures that use various chemical solutions to exfoliate or peel away the outer layer of the skin. They are commonly used to treat fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone, skin discoloration, dull complexion, age spots, or sun damaged skin. Typically, chemical peels are performed on the face, but can also be used on the neck, chest, or hands. Chemical peels can vary in depth from superficial to medium to deep. In general, the deeper the peel, the more significant and noticeable the results. However, the trade off is that deeper peels also require more recovery time and more post procedure care.

TMJ / TMD: Trigger point injections (TPI) is used to treat extremely painful and tender areas of muscles. Normal muscle contracts and relaxes when it is active. A trigger point is a knot or tight band in the muscle that forms when muscle fails to relax. The knot often can be felt under the skin and may twitch involuntarily when touched (called a jump sign). The trigger point can trap or irritate surrounding nerves and cause referred pain - pain felt in another part of the body or in the teeth. Scar tissue and loss of range of motion and weakness may form over time. A small needle is inserted into the trigger point and a local anesthetic (e.g., lidocaine, procaine), botulinum toxin (e.g. Botox) or anti-inflammatory steroid is injected. Trigger point injections have been found to be very effective in relieving pain, and may be used in combination with home exercise, heat, cold, and an individualized medication program.
